Trades presents innovative solutions for the health sector at Nutraceuticals 2026

Trades participates in Nutraceuticals 2026

On February 4 and 5, Trades participated as an exhibitor in the ninth edition of the Nutraceuticals 2026 Fair, held at IFEMA Madrid, consolidating its position as a strategic partner for the development of innovative solutions for the Health & Sport Nutrition sector.

Over two intense days, stand B10 became a meeting point for brands, formulators, and professionals interested in science-backed functional ingredients, with a special focus on prevention, holistic wellness—primarily digestive, immune, cognitive, joint, and skin health—and sports nutrition.

Science, effectiveness, and differentiation: the keys to the meeting

Nutraceuticals confirmed the market's evolution toward increasingly specific solutions with greater clinical backing, aimed at informed and demanding consumers. Concepts such as bioavailability, microbiota, healthy aging, and beauty from within were the focus of many of the conversations held during the fair.

In this context, Trades' proposal—together with Abyss Ingredients, Biotis®, PharmaNutra, and Fermedics—particularly resonated with companies seeking real differentiation in their developments.

The solutions that set the agenda at the Nutraceuticals 2026 Fair

Abyss Ingredients and dermaceuticals

Abyss Ingredients sparked great interest with Dermatidyss®, its comprehensive skin care solution. This natural marine active ingredient has a unique composition that includes anti-stress peptides, collagen peptides, and glycosaminoglycans. These elements work together to prevent negative effects on the skin, accelerate the healing process, and maintain deep hydration.

Clinical studies demonstrate its effectiveness in helping to calm the mind and improve the skin in people with a tendency toward atopic skin.

Fermedics: advanced fermentation and Low FODMAP certification

As a new Trades representative, Fermedics made its debut at the Nutraceuticals 2026 Fair with its patented PhytoFerm® technology, designed to improve the bioaccessibility and efficacy of plant ingredients.

Among its most relevant solutions, Fibriotics® AF+ has obtained Low FODMAP certification from Monash University, becoming the world's first fermented prebiotic and postbiotic ingredient with this seal. This powdered ingredient, obtained from the fermentation of 36 fruits and vegetables, combines pre-digested microfibers and bioactive postbiotics, positioning itself as an advanced solution for formulations focused on intestinal health.

Biotis®: microbiota, immunity, and performance

Biotis® (FrieslandCampina Ingredients) solutions once again positioned themselves as the benchmark in digestive and immune health. Ingredients such as Biotis® GOS, one of the most widely studied galactooligosaccharides worldwide, and Biotis® Fermentis, aimed at digestive well-being and athletic performance, reflect the consolidation of the microbiota–immunity–performance axis in today's market.

Furthermore, growing interest in specific modulation of the microbiota and the systemic impact of the gut on metabolic and cognitive health reinforces the role of solutions based on functional milk fractions within next-generation formulations.

PharmaNutra: bioavailability as a differentiating factor

PharmaNutra's patented Sucrosomial® technology stood out as one of the most robust proposals in the field of mineral and vitamin absorption. Applied to ingredients such as magnesium (SideMag®), zinc (UltraZin®), and vitamin D3 (UltraD3®), this technology responds to a clear market trend: more effective supplements that are better tolerated and carry a lower risk of gastrointestinal side effects.

In a context where bioavailability and consumer experience have become decisive factors, Sucrosomial® solutions provide a real competitive advantage for formulators seeking differentiation based on scientific evidence.

Trends identified in Nutraceuticals 2026

This year's edition confirmed several strategic lines for the sector:

✔ Greater demand for scientific backing and clinical trials

Growing interest in technologies that improve bioavailability

✔ Consolidation of the comprehensive approach (cognition, skin, microbiota, immunity)

✔ Search for sustainable solutions with responsible origins

A very positive outcome

For Trades, participating in the Nutraceuticals 2026 Fair has been an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships, generate new opportunities for collaboration, and share knowledge with the nutraceutical ecosystem.

With more than 50 years of experience, the company reaffirms its commitment to innovation, science, and the development of effective functional solutions that bring real value to brands and formulators.
