CLEAN LABEL SOLUTIONS

Challenges of the food industry

In a world where consumers increasingly value transparency and authenticity, clean label products are gaining popularity. Shoppers are looking for options free of artificial additives and hard-to-identify ingredients, prioritizing their health and wellness.

For brands, it is essential to use natural and transparent ingredients in their clean label products, thus ensuring consumer trust and loyalty. This trend covers not only processed products, but also sectors as varied as dairy, bakery, snacks and ready meals.

How to get a Clean Label?

INGREDIENTS

It is ideal to opt for natural ingredients that consumers can easily identify, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and other interesting options.

It is also crucial for brands to be transparent about the origin of the elements that make up their products, avoiding the use of ingredients that sound too artificial.

ADDITIVES

The elimination of artificial additives is essential, as consumers are increasingly unsure and associate these elements with poorer health.

Brands can use natural alternatives to replace additives. For example, replacing artificial colorants with fruit and vegetable extracts.

UNDERSTANDING

As for the structure of the content, it is ideal that the language be clear and simple, with a recognizable list of ingredients and as reduced as possible.

It is important for consumers to know what each element of the label is, helping them to understand those elements that may be more confusing.
